Interior design has always been a major part of my life. I spent almost 15 'working' in the oil/gas industry before I was asked "what do you WANT to do now? I chose to go to college in my thirties to achieve my degree in business and Interior Design and started my own business. I had just completed being the designer and general contractor in a personal 4000 sf custom home in Grants, NM. The question was my divorce present and the beginning of a new life - a single parenting life. My greatest successes have been as an entrepreneur. I am now retired... ready for what's next?

I worked for the local 5 and 10 at Crosstimbers and Tidwell (I think). I made $1.?? As a distributive education student I went on to work for Battelstein's Department Store, downtown in personnel.

The only vacation our family ever took was to Bracketteville TX where the movie the Alamo was being filmed and we met and dined with John Wayne and Fabian when I was about 13.

I was interviewed on a local station here in Denver, CO, as an Feng Shui expert in the late 90's.

I read a lot; I write, a lot, poems, songs and journaling - maybe a book is in the making as I am going back through 40 years worth of journals. I love spending time with my grandsons, now 5 and 4.

I have two delightful grandsons here in Colorado. I live in the most beautiful state - truly Colorado. I have moved to New Mexico, Idaho, Oregon ... but Colorado is HOME. I even tried to come back to TX - but I lasted only 9 days.

I moved from Houston's pollution in 1970 to give my son of 18 months a chance to live. The Colorado environment has been the love of my life and saved my sons life. He was no longer allergic to everything within about 18 months of the change in weather and pollution. I dearly love Colorado's weather and beauty. I truly live in God's country.

Silence is golden. Nobody cares for my opinion. Unless asked, don't tell.

In a second marriage I was truly loved, honored, acknowledged and respected. It was in divorce that he asked me What do you want to do now that gave me a new lease on life. He was truly the only person who truly loved me for who I am.

My lifelong career of DESIGNER of life, living environments has been my passion and purpose. Feng Shui principles have been the guiding light of beauty, balance, harmony of homes across the country from 1991 through 2008 and in my own living environment today.
