Ever been on TV? Tell us all about it.

Local station here in Natchitoches. We film a Christmas Greeting from our store every year.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

My husband and I bought a Saleen S-281 SC Mustang back in 2000 and have been showing it at car shows ever since. It's our pride and joy, after the grand-children, of course. We have met so many nice people on the car show circuit. It's my dream to one day do the "Great Pony" ride to Southern California. Our car club hosted them once in Cal and it was so much fun. They start in Florida and end up in So. Cal. It was at a car show that I met Eric Estrada and Bobby Sherman. In 2020, I bought him a 2019 Shelby GT 350. Now I am known as the "Best wife Ever".

Name something you dearly love. and why?

My hubby, 'cause he's so loveable.

Comments:

4'10' until I shrunk. Now I'm up to 4'8". At the risk of sounding like a broken record.

Is there a moment in your life that stands out? A moment that defines who you are? Other than kids being born or your wedding day.

Rob and I bought a convenience store in Natchitoches, Louisiana back in 2005. We ended up making a name for our store/deli with the best hamburger in northern Louisiana. We also sold smoked brisket. We worked our butts off for 9 1/2 years and then opportunity knocked. We found out that someone was interested in purchasing our business. We were tired, so we took the leap and sold it. We are now retired and loving every minute of it. We have a Llama ranch and that keeps us busy. But, it's what we love, so we don't think of it as work. Retirement is way underrated. I highly recommend it.
