What would we be surprised to know about you?

Nothing extraordinary. I have been married to a wonderful man since 1983. We have a son born in 1989, 2 dogs and 2 cats. We had a new home built in 2007 in Fairway Crossing at Lake Houston in Huffman. If you play golf here, we live on the 4th tee off. My mom lives with us. We travel some and basically just enjoy life. We lived in Yukon Oklahoma, then New Iberia LA, before returning to the Houston area in 1988.
I see and talk with Debbie and Elaine very frequently. We have remained great friends all these years.
I lost my brother and sister to Melanoma. My sister Patsy was a 1966 graduate of SH and my brother, Ronnie Mahaffey was a 1965 graduate of SH. That was tough. They passed in 1986 and 1990 respectively. Life is what it is.

I worked at Milchem Inc 1974 - 1983. Started at $4.50 an hour as a payroll clerk! Loved that job!! Wasn't really my first job, but I consider it my first REAL job.

Is there a moment in your life that stands out? A moment that defines who you are? Other than kids being born or your wedding day.

There are, but they are too personal to post.
