Name something you dearly love. and why?

Downtown Houston--Maybe because I worked at Foleys downtown while I was in school and really enjoyed it. Maybe because in the 12th grade I rode a bus across thru downtown out to San Jacinto and took some bookeeping machine courses everyday until 10:30 am, then rode the bus back to Irvington and Berry and walked down to Sam Houston to take three classes there.
I don't go downtown very often anymore, but I will always remember the good times I had, especially during the parades, when we always stood in line at James Cooney Island (the only one in town then) for the best hotdogs anywhere. I loved to skip the afternoon classes once in a while to go to a movie at the Majestic or the Metropolitian or sometimes the Lowes..Good Time , Good Memories.
I'm attending BSF(Bible Study Fellowship) at Champions Forest Baptist Curch thru May of this year. We are doing a study of John and I dearly love doing this bible study. I'm looking forward to the study that starts in Sept. about Isaiah. Its almost like school work, we only go to the class and lecture once a week, but we have homework 6 days a week.

Comments:

I married this crazy cajun husband of mine in 1963 and 5 years later had our daughter Renee. I got to stay home for the first year of her life and be a full time Mom and wife.. If I could go back and change anything about my life I would find some way to stay home and raise my child, and I would make sure we were faithful and active in our church.

I have two awesome Grandchildren, Haley Rose who is 15 until August, and Emily Renee who will be 13 in June. I am truly blessed!
