Favorite Quote

When being introduced,to someone new, rather than state I was fine,in condition,I would come back with:can't complain,or it could be worse; And when times get rough,I sometimes make comment:Well, its better than a poke in the eye, with a sharp stick.

Famous or interesting people you've met?

At 40th school reunion, one of the old mates became a judge, and was on TV,for awhile?

Ever been on TV? Tell us all about it.

Not that I recall

What do you like to do in your spare time?

When I'm feeling pretty good,I attempt to catchup in my business paperwork; My wife usually attempts to get me on a cruise, once a year.

Name something you dearly love. and why?

I'm happy I wake up everyday. And don't have anything major wrong with my health. And my wife after 46yrs.continues to put up with me.

Comments:

Went directly into military, after graduation, discharged in '67.Got job at Brown & Root for a few years, then a ship&receive clear for valve co,warehouse job at Chrysler, then they went bankrupt in '72;Did various jobs, till member from church got me in with a company that dealt with check-protectors,which were used on cashiers checks, back in '70'/s;Learned other types of equip.repair, over the years,as rep.for this machine co;Now,able to service and sell over 30different machines, and many other mfg.types, under that 30;Reared all 3 kids, they married and gone;See them occasionally,at least once a month.Pretty good, since I did not see my parents but once or twice a year.Economy really pressing, but we have been able to stay ahead of bill collectors, and payoff our home.
Jan.2015:Now,I am living mostly off of Social Security,eBay & taking old equip, from auction,to the scrap yard,to continue to pay bills!Health, continues to deteriorate, but happy in marriage!

Any words of wisdom?

When I was younger, scrapped for biz, worried about many things!Found relationship with creator, thru Jehovah's Witnesses, and that relationship, calmed me down, and me content with what I had accomplished, and await Gods Kingdom,to take over earths affairs,as foretold in Lords Prayer, and happiness to all of the human family!

Is there a moment in your life that stands out? A moment that defines who you are? Other than kids being born or your wedding day.

Yes,When Jehovahs Witnesses, came to my door, over 40yrs.ago,and thru questions, and inquiries on my goals, they pointed to many scriptures foretelling conditions,in the last days, that the Lords Prayer foretold, along with 1 Tim.3:14,of the personalities of the people on the earth,in the last days before Gods kingdom, would have to step in,before man destroys each other, like a concerned landlord!
