Berry Elementary for 1st, 3rd, and 6th grade. Also Alamo and Roosevelt. Other schools in California.

Burbank Jr. High for 9th grade, Hamilton for 8th grade, Spring Branch in 7th grade.

Born on Trenton downtown and lived many places as a child. All up and down Irvington from Bennington to Apache.

Have lived in Ecuador. Have been married multiple times. Widowed in 2003 and 2012.

School Story:

Just there until parents moved us to California 1965. We moved a lot when I was a child, so I don't remember many of the people I went to school with.

What did you want to do or think you were going to do when you finished high school?

Be an architect after college, did not know it would take 20 years before I got to college.
I was the first girl in the HISD to take Mechanical Drawing in 1961 at Burbank. I had to have my fathers written permission.
They would not let me take Wood Shop at all and my hobby is woodworking and remodeling of houses. I have flipped three houses in the past five years after remodeling them.

What and where was your 1st job? Do you remember how much you were paid?

Waiting tables in South Dakota. 40 cents plus tips, 1967

Ever been on TV? Tell us all about it.

Yes. A program in Houston in which I was advertising myself for a job in about 1991.
Also a daily show in Minneapolis about Opposites Attract, with my husband who was 9" shorter than me and more domestically inclined, to my mechanical aptitude.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

My hobby is woodworking and remodeling of houses. I have flipped three houses in the past five years after remodeling them.
I love to travel and have been on four continents, and will visit the other three before I turn 70 in March of 2017.

Greatgrands and Grands. They are not as "stupid" as thier parents.
