Denise Woodyard Harmon and I still talk, email, and see each other when we can. Living in two different states makes it hard.

I have been married 40 yrs as of this last June 21st. I have a collection of cookie jars that at one time numbered over 300. Sounds crazy but it has been a lot of fun and made a lot of money off of it too.

I spent most of my time at Sam Houston in the band room . Some of the guys picked up my red 59 Renualt and put it between two pillars on the sidewalk in front of the band hall on the night of graduation. I had a lot of good times with all the folks in band.

I met race car driver Pat Austin the year he won at Houston Raceway Park in Baytown, Tx. where we lived at the time . Our Red Wing Shoe Store we had, was sponsoring him , so we got our pictures taken with him and his car.

I have a garden and lots of flowers on our 5 acres in the country. I really love sitting on our deck out back and enjoying the wild life. We have lots of friends and family that come up to visit.

I love being in Arkansas where we live in the Ozarks . It is beautiful here and we have snow in the winter. That is something I guess I never got enough of living in Houston. I'm still a kid at heart.

We lived in Baytown, Tx. until the kids got out of school and decided we had to get out of all the pollution . I worked for Foleys Dept. Stores for 13 yrs , I was a dept. manager there. I worked in a private elementary school for 7 yrs as a preschool teacher. I loved working with kids.
