|School Story:||I had a pretty normal life, which is pretty special these days. My mom and dad stayed married for over 40 years until my dad passed in 1987. There was six children there and we had a pretty good life. We didn't have a lot of money but we had a lot of love. Mom and Dad make sure we always had a really good Christmas even if we had to go in debt. I met my best friend Linda Wiegel when she came to Patrick Henry. She talked me into moving to Burbank in my 9th grade year. We lost touch over the years and reconnected after not seeing each other for 37 years. I found her on Facebook, so and if you are looking for your old friends that's a good place to start. We both know Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior!! Praise the Lord. I was engaged to Jim Breazeale at 15 and been with him ever since.|
|What did you want to do or think you were going to do when you finished high school?||I always wanted to be a wife and mother just like my mom. I found a letter when my fourth child was 6 months old and I had told my husband when I was 15 that I wanted 4 kids, I warned him lol. Wow I couldn't believe it. We had some rough times raising those kids, but praise the Lord we made it.|
|What and where was your 1st job? Do you remember how much you were paid?||I started babysitting when I was 11 and I remember me and Mary George used to clean my brothers house. I must have been 10 or 11 then. Can't remember how much I made, but it wasn't much, but hey I was so glad to get what I got. My mom taught us how to clean house good, she was really immaculate.|
|Favorite Quote||I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.|
|Famous or interesting people you've met?||Hank Aaron, Dusty Baker, Phil Niekro, Joe Niekro, Ron Schueler ( husbands first roommate), Frank LaCorte who played for the Astros, Johnny Bench.|
|What do you like to do in your spare time?||I love gardening, bowling, having my family and friends over for dinner & games, playing bridge with friends, & getting out of town to Sargent or my timeshare.|
|Name something you dearly love. and why?||I love the Lord with all my heart, he is always there for me. I love my husband and children and grandchildren. To tell you the truth I love everybody because of God living in my heart. The Bible says even to love your enemies and with the power of the Holy Spirit I can do that. I pray all Christians can get ahold of this and turn our nation around. Jesus said you shall know my disciples by their love for one another!! Love ya'll.|
|Any words of wisdom?||If you haven't made Jesus your Lord and Savior you need to do that today. I go see Shut-ins and people in the nursing home all the time, because they are at the end of their life and that is what God has called me to do. I pray if you don't know why you're here on this earth, God will show you when you accept His Son Jesus Christ.|
|Is there a moment in your life that stands out? A moment that defines who you are? Other than kids being born or your wedding day.||Yes, back in 1981 I was walking across the kitchen when I realized I was reading my Bible everyday and getting up early in the morning to spend time to talk to Jesus. I believe at that time I went from darkness to light because I realized I had so much love, joy, and peace. I was such a nervous wreck and I was so unhappy before I started spending time with Jesus. I can't explain the excitement and the happiness I had to know that God loved me and cared about me and had a special plan for me. That was the greatest day of my life!!|
